On this workshop we will explore the connection between our roots and our wings, our groundness and our lightness, our feet and our arms, our Flowing and our Lyrical. How can they complement and support each other. How they attract each other being so different, on two different ends.
How can we be rooted and still free to move and fluid to change. How can we be flying with our wings and still be connected and embodied? We will visit the depths of our roots and the skies of our wings, its dances and its stories.

The 5 Rhythms comprise a simple movement practice designed to release the dancer that lives in every body, no matter what its shape, size, age, limitations and experience. To find your dance is to find yourself at your most fluid and creative level. While the practice itself is the essence of simplicity, it has the power to catalyze deep healing and creative expression. The primary teaching of this work is: If you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself.
Silvija Tomčik, first Croatian 5 Rhythms teacher (Waves training in 2001, and Heartbeat training in 2010, with Gabrielle Roth in the USA) who, as an organiser, brought this practice to Croatia and neighbouring countries. Silvija has been teaching 5 Rhythms regularly both nationally and internationally the last 10 years. She is a committed, passionate and grounded teacher. Teaching and dancing are her natural gifts.
Workshop is led in English with translation to German.
For new as well as experienced dancers.

Times: Friday 18-20:30h, Saturday 12 to 15h and 17 to 20h
