Tribal dance is a gathering of dancers coming together from different places, creating tribes of different colours and rhythms to dance the passage of the Old into the New Year.
Our daily meditation will be coming to the present moment by using the simple and profound practice of 5 Rhythms movement. For me each of these rhythms is like a “tribe” of endless movements, patterns and possibilities. Looking through the prysm of each Rhythm we will look back, grounded and centred in the present, to move forward together into the year 2013.
Looking at what we have lived through from one season to another we will let it in and let it out, so that we can let it go with respect, love and gratitude. From that place, we will be ready to look into where our hearts are turning next, what dreams and visions are growing already, where the empty space opens. Aware of all the support we need and all the support we have, inside us and around us. Connected and linked we will dance from the Old into the New Year as one tribe. Celebrating our differences & dancing in unity towards Stillness and Compassion.
Previous 5 Rhythms experience is highly recommended.
We begin on 29.12. at 11:00 h and we end on 02.01. at 13:30 h
Prices: Full price 300 Euro. If you book with non-refundable deposit of 70 Euro before 1st of November, early booking price is: 230 Euro. Working Price : 145 Euro.
Weissenbach an der Triesting is 52km Southwest from Vienna and 175km North from Graz.
Different possibilities for accommodation nearby. Lunch will be organised in the pension restaurant at walking distance.
Workshop is led in English.
Silvija Tomčik, first Croatian 5 Rhythms teacher (Waves accreditation in 2001, Heartbeat training in 2010.) who, as an organiser, brought this practice to Croatia and neighbouring countries. Silvija has been teaching 5 Rhythms regularly both nationally and internationally for the last 11 years. She is a committed, passionate, experienced and grounded dancer and teacher.
